Captain's Log, stardate 42252.2

Captain’s Log, stardate 42252.2….

We have returned to chart more of a little-known region of the Cape May cluster, and decided to stop by the Class M planet we discovered last year. This jungle world is abundant in wildlife, and we weren’t surprised to discover yet another species of giant primate. Captain Kirk’s previous encounter with the mugato has made me hesitate to engage this new species. Luckily we have a group of xenobiologists on board who are up to the task! Locals are calling this species “titi monkey.”

Happy Star Trek Day! 🖖
