🎉 NEW AT THE ZOO!

Say hello to Morticia, the Turkey Vulture! Morticia is the newest member of our Ambassador Animal team. She will not be viewable in the Zoo, however you might be able to see her during some outreach programs when she is ready!

Turkey Vultures are an integral part of our ecosystem!By cleaning up carrion or dead animals from our environment they help stop the spread of disease. In fact a turkey vulture’s stomach acid is so strong they can even eat carcasses infected with rabies and tuberculosis without getting sick.

Welcome Morticia!
