Beavers at work | Things to Do in Cape May NJ

Woodn’t you be surprised to know beavers don’t just collect lumber for construction. Unlike other mammals, they can digest the cellulose found in wood. They are known to eat leaves, roots, and bark from aspens, willows, maples and poplar trees. These busy beavers were caught on camera at Great Bay National Wildlife Refuge.
