Big news for Birds! 🐦

The Migratory Bird Conservation Commission just approved more than $46.2 in habitat grants, matched by more than $99.1 million in partner funds, to conserve or restore 91,425 acres of essential habitat for migratory birds.

Plus, more than $11.7 million from the Migratory Bird Conservation Fund will conserve habitat on 7 national wildlife refuges across 7 states! https://ow.ly/lA7M50Tm40A

These funds are authorized under the North American Wetlands Conservation Act, a federal grant program dedicated to the conservation of wetland habitats for migratory birds and their habitats. These grants increase bird populations and wetland habitat, while supporting local economies and American traditions such as hunting, fishing and birdwatching.
