Calling all Community Scientists!
How do you tag a Monarch? Ask the folks at Cellular Tracking Technologies! CTT will be at The Wetlands Institute holding a public tagging demo tomorrow afternoon from 1:30-2:30pm, so stop by with your questions – and be sure to bring a healthy sense of wonder!

A few cool facts courtesy of our friends at CTT:
🔎Their revolutionary BlūMorpho transmitter weighs about 0.06g!
📻The tags are solar-powered and operate on Bluetooth, meaning you can detect them on your smartphone! All you need is the Project Monarch App–available for iOS on the App Store and Android on Google Play Store.
📲The free Project Monarch app means YOU can download data and YOU can be a part of the research, logging your sightings and contributing to community science! (and there’s even a leaderboard to see who detects the most Monarchs)

Join us tomorrow, and prepare to be amazed!
