Cape May Point State Park has been battling exotic plants for almost 20 years. These plants were brought to the United States for many reasons, but unfortunately, they have invaded our forests and often smother shrubbery or climb and cover trees.
As these flowers bloom this summer and fall, we will introduce them to you in hopes you will join the fight and kill them on your property.
Our first flower is a real BEAST, Multiflora Rose. Beautiful, fragrant flowers and FAST GROWING.
Multiflora Ros was introduced from Asia to help stabilize eroding roadsides.
it has since escaped into the American Forest, smothering, smothering shrubbery. Be part of the solution, Please Kill this plant and do not plant it!
