CHAPTER OF THE YEAR!! 🎉
Our American Association of Zookeepers (AAZK) Chapter was honored to receive this year’s Chapter of the Year Award at the annual conference last week. “The purpose of this award is to recognize AAZK Chapters in good standing with the Association for their dedication and commitment to both the Association and in conveying our conservation and education messages to the public.”
The Cape May County Zoo’s AAZK Chapter consists of 15 staff members from the zoo who volunteer their free time to fundraise for conservation, animal enrichment, and staff education. Attending their events, like Night Out, Critter Crawls, Night Walks, Winos for Rhinos, and brewery takeovers all help them make a difference!
