Check out this glimpse into the interior of historic Hangar #1 from 1997 when Dr. Salvatore founded the NASW Foundation and took over. There was a large hole in the roof on the northwest side of the hangar. The building was full of debris and bird poop after it was left abandoned for some time. The journey of the building and museum has been remarkable. Your support through donations, memberships, museum visits, attending events, or purchasing from the museum’s gift shop helps us improve and grow. Thank you for being a part of our journey!
