“Did you hear that?”

Isn’t that cool white-tailed deer can turn their ears completely around?! Those large, cupped, rotating ears are great for picking up the sound of potential predators, or in this case, the faint sounds of the trail camera.

A study published in the Journal of Wildlife Management determined that white‐tailed deer can hear frequencies between 0.25–30 kilohertz (kHz). The upper limit of human hearing is about 20 kHz.
