From Von Bayer to Bon Voyage…..✌️🐟
American shad are growing, hatching, and heading home!! Using the Von Bayer method (and V-shaped trough) of counting eggs, it’s estimated that North Attleboro National Fish Hatchery raised and stocked over 8 million shad to their native waters this season! The North Attleboro NFH plays a key role in protecting and restoring these migratory fish.
