Happy 12th Birthday, Fry! 🥳
Fry is a De Brazza’s monkey, a species endemic to forests of central Africa. They are guenons, which means they have cheek pouches for storing extra food. Fry can fit a whole banana in one cheek pouch! De Brazza’s rely heavily on vision, and tend to communicate by visual cues, like staring, yawning, and shaking branches. Fry’s favorite enrichment is watching the reverse camera on his keepers’ phones!
