Tres is a member of our ring-tailed lemur troop. This species, and all lemur species, are endemic to the island nation of Madagascar in Africa. Ring-tailed lemurs are endangered, mainly due to habitat loss, hunting, and the pet trade. Tres was born here at the zoo.
