Happy 28th Birthday, Brat! 🥳
Brat is a hyacinth macaw who has lived at the zoo since 1998. Hyacinth macaws are native to rainforests of South America and are one of the largest species of parrot. Brat is a very personable guy and loves to chat with guests. One of his favorite phrases is “Night night, Brat Brat,” which you may hear him say near closing time! 💤
