Ghelfling is a black howler monkey, a primate species native to South America. They are folivores, which means they mostly eat leaves. Howler monkeys have a very loud, deep call they use to indicate their territory and it can be heard from miles away! She is one of the oldest howler monkeys in North America and spends her days lounging around in the sun and getting groomed by her daughter! ☀
