Happy 2nd Birthday, Lucy and Ethel! 🥳

Lucy and Ethel are greater rheas, a species of flightless bird native to South America. Ethel is bigger than Lucy and has darker feathers around the base of her neck. Lucy is lighter in color with one white feather above her left eye. They are usually seen together and their daily activities consist of people-watching, following the Capybaras around, and looking for snacks around their habitat. Ethel is shyer than Lucy, but one thing she isn’t shy about is her sprinkler – she loves to walk through it! 💦
