Fern is a Flemish Giant Rabbit, and boy, is she giant! Weighing in at around 15 lbs, Fern is one of the largest breeds of rabbits in the world! Fern is one of our animal ambassadors, and you can meet her during some of our educational programs.
Did you know Fern’s big ears are not just for hearing? They are filled with blood vessels that get cooled off in the breeze before recirculating. It’s like her own built-in air conditioning!
