Happy 3rd Birthday, Grant! 🥳

Grant is an emu, the second largest species of bird. Emus are native to Australia and can be found throughout the country. Although they are normally solitary, they can sometimes be seen in flocks when resources are abundant. Grant lives in the kangaroo yard. He is very personable and loves attention from the keepers. Grant has also been a great construction supervisor, as he has been overseeing the work being done to the wallaby yard and walkways in the area! 👷‍♀️

Come celebrate Grant’s birthday with us tomorrow! 🎁
