Happy 3rd Birthday, Marigold and Buttercup! 🥳
Marigold and Buttercup are members of our capybara herd. Capybaras are semi-aquatic and the world’s largest rodent! These sisters were both born here at the zoo to mom, Budette. Marigold is whimsical. She loves playing in her straw and will often walk around covered in it. Buttercup is timid and sweet. She loves napping in her Christmas tree, training, and spending time with her mate Goomba.
