Happy 71st Birthday, Princess, and Happy National Bird Day! 🥳
Meet Princess, an Andean condor and the oldest animal at the zoo! Andean condors are a species of vulture endemic to the west coast of South America in the Andes mountains. These large, impressive birds have a wingspan of around 9 feet! Princess has lived at the zoo for just over 2 years. Keepers say that Princess is very smart and curious. Her favorite activity? Eating dead things! 😅
