Happy 7th Birthday, Walter! 🥳

Walter is a Bactrian camel, a species native to the rocky deserts of central Asia. The temperatures in this region can run from -20 degrees F to over 100 degrees F! This species has adapted to this temperature range by growing in a thick winter coat and then shedding it all out in the spring. Walter looks very different from season to season! Did you know you can book a Camel Encounter on our website and meet Walter and his buddy, Marty? 😍
