Red pandas are a unique species with their very own taxonomic family! They are native to mountain forests in central Asia and spend most of their lives in the trees. Their diet is mostly bamboo! At the zoo, you may spot David Bowie, a 5-year-old male, or Luna, a 22-year-old female.
