Happy Zookeeper Week: Meet our Barnyard Team! 🐄🐷🐐
Our team cares for Vietnamese Pot-bellied pigs, various species of goats, and Jilly the cow, the zoo’s guest greeter. We spend most of our day raking yards, cleaning barns, and providing food. We are rake line enthusiasts! If you don’t see us performing the previously mentioned tasks, then you can catch us training or enriching our animals to bring out natural behaviors. We develop strong relationships with the animals and they consider us part of the herd!
