Happy Zookeeper Week: Meet our Carnivore Team! 🦁🐻
Our team cares for the snow leopards, cheetahs, lions, amur leopard, black bears, and Andean bear. We take care of large dens, as well as expansive yards. Safety is a priority, so we spend a lot of time checking locks, shift doors, and the location of our animals. Cats and bears are trained and enriched daily. Most of the animals are solitary but develop relationships with their keepers. A lot of the animals in this section are older, so they need more geriatric care and behavioral observation.
