Have you SPOTTED this cutie in the Reptile House? 👀

Two spotted turtles make their home in the Reptile House at the Zoo. One arrived in 2000 and the other in 2010, both as donations/rescues. Spotted turtles are a local New Jersey species and are endangered. They are aquatic and prefer shallow water, which makes NJ marshes a great home for them. Spotted turtles can be easily identified by the yellow spots on their shell. 💛
