Here’s your yearly reminder that balloons BLOW! 🎈
Every year we find released or lost balloons at the zoo. Last week, these balloons ended up in the Watusi cattle yard. Luckily, our zookeepers got to them before the animals did. Not only can balloons harm our local wildlife, but they can be dangerous for the zoo animals, too! Entanglement and ingestion are two major concerns. If you choose to use balloons, please dispose of them properly and don’t let them go!
