Horns🐃 vs. Antlers! 🦌

White-tailed deer, Meep, is here to show off his antlers! Only male deer typically have antlers. They are shed every year and then regrown for the next breeding season. Antlers are used to impress females and fight other males. Horns, on the other hand, are permanent structures that are not shed. They are often present in both males and females of the species.
