In anticipation of New Jersey Wine Week, November 13-19, we’re sharing tidbits about New Jersey wine.

New Jersey wineries bring in big bucks for the state. A 2016 study done on the state’s wine industry found that the industry found that it had a $323 million economic impact on the state in 2016, up over $100 million from just five years prior. Those numbers aren’t simply the total of wine sold in the state. They include the positive economic effect that the industry has on tourism, on businesses that the wineries support (think food trucks, local musicians, and the local creamery that made the cheese on a winery’s cheese plate), and on the salaries of industry workers.
