Field Trip Program – While visiting a selection of historic buildings, students will gain first-hand exposure to life as it was for our ancestors of the early 19th century. As students wander through the Village, they may encounter various trades and craftspeople, such as blacksmiths, potters, tinsmiths, bookbinders, schoolmasters, weavers & spinners, inn-keepers, basket makers, printers, woodworkers, and bakers. And of course, a stop at the the Country Store and Ice Cream Parlor are always a student favorite.
The Village is open exclusively for school and homeschool groups, Tuesday through Friday from May 13 to June 7, 2024.
