Live at Day 2 of AirFest 2024!
Here are a few tips for your visit:
The 177th Fighter Wing, NJANG will be buzzing over us at 1:15PM. Make sure to be a little early as you will not want to miss this epic four-aircraft fly-over!
The 177th as well as the 306th will also have tents set up for you to purchase some awesome merchandise such as T-shirts and patches!
The C-54D Spirit of Freedom will be set up to allow interior tours free of charge. The aircraft is a flying museum dedicated to the Berlin Airlift.
Two SNJs & a YAK will be flying in for the day pending weather. The New Jerset State Police is hopeful to bring the AW139 (AM) and Bell 206 (PM) tomorrow
Ted Schwartz will be DJing his 1940s Radio Show throughout the day.
At 11 AM, The F-14 Tomcat Podcast will Host speakers including a former Pilot of the F-14 and F-4 Phantom.
The National Anthem and “God Bless America” will be played at 12 PM.
Free face painting will take place from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with scattered in between.
Devlin will start playing at 12:00 p.m. on the outdoor stage under the tent. (inside if the weather is poor).
Vendors, exhibitors, and a beer & wine garden will be open all day.
The 9th Infantry Division Reenactment Society will be onsite educating on the history of the 9th Infantry Division and its gear.
F-14 Tomcat Calverton ATG Podcast – Meet former F-14 Tomcat Aircrews. Check out the history of the F-14 inside their museum tent!
The 621st Contingency Response Group set up static displays showcasing their mission and abilities. Specialized equipment will be on display including a MRZR tactical vehicle.
Our friends over at the FAA Technical Center will be onsite educating on career opportunities in aviation. Make sure to drop by their table.
There will also be Paddle Boats for kids and Axe Throwing. Make sure to check them out!
Come hungry as we have tons of great food options from our many food trucks!
Most vendors take credit cards, Venmo, and PayPal, but it is always safe to bring some cash. If you happen to forget you can visit the ATM next door at the Flight Deck Diner.
Don’t forget your comfortable walking shoes, hat, and sunscreen! Make sure to hydrate!
