Live at Wings & Things: Arts & Crafts Festival featuring Modern Muscle and Exotic Cars TODAY from 10am-4pm!

Here are a few tips for your visit:

There will be kids’ crafts all day including bird feeders, paper planes, spinners, and coloring. There will be adult crafts of assembling fairy light jars at 11 am and 2 pm and Cardinal or Red Wing Black Bird carving lessons at 11 am. There are 25 seats per lesson and all crafts are while supplies last.

A private collection of vehicles including a 2013 Shelby Super Snake wide-body, 2012 Shelby 1000 wide-body, and 2017 Ford GT Heritage Edition will be displayed with select aircraft. Make sure to stop by to grab a photo! Be on the lookout for “taxi hour”!

The Modern Muscle Car Invasion (over 100 modern muscle cars) will be on display on the north side of the hangar all day with trophy winners being announced around 3:15 pm.

Free face painting will occur from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with scattered breaks throughout the day. There will also be free caricatures from 11 am until 2 pm.

Devlin will start playing at noon on the outdoor stage on the west side of the hangar. They will be playing your favorite country and rock hits!

Visit the EYE exhibit at 11am and 1pm! Meet at the control tower!

RC2U will be on site for museum visitors to drive RC Monster trucks! This is an additional charge by the vendor.

The museum is also hosting a book sale which features 100s of used books and magazines. We have tons of books on sale on aviation, flight, military history, cookbooks, exercise books, and many other genres. Make sure to stop by the sale table near the bar.

Come hungry as we have tons of great food options from our many food trucks including Patriot Concessions, Pirate Pete’s Soda Pop Company, Rita’s Water Ice of Rio Grande, Waffle Up, and Poppin’ Bobs! There will be a beer & wine garden for you to cool down and grab an ice-cold drink. The museum will also be selling water, sodas, and soft pretzels.

We have over 25 vendors and exhibitors that will be at the event all day. Most vendors take credit cards but cash is always accepted. If you forget to bring cash you can visit the Flight Deck Diner across the parking lot. They have an ATM inside.

If you are a member or interested in becoming a member please visit the membership tent near the museum’s entrance. If you are looking to just visit the museum for the day you can make your way into the museum for standard admission.

Don’t forget your comfortable walking shoes, hat, and sunscreen! Looking forward to seeing everyone and thanks for supporting us!
