Look at those mushrooms!
Indian pipe can be found on forest floors throughout the region and are commonly mistaken for mushrooms. These weird wonders are actually in the blueberry family! The plant lacks chlorophyll and doesn’t use photosynthesis. This means it can thrive in the darkest of forests because it is parasitic on photosynthetic trees, using their energy for survival.
