Make sure to stop and smell the flowers ๐Ÿ‘ƒ๐ŸŒธ

Not only are flowers great olfactory enrichment for the zoo animals, they are also a tasty treat! Forsythia, pear, magnolia, crepe myrtle, hibiscus, and roses are examples of just some of the blossoming plants that are used as novel food enrichment. Please note: Each animal species has different nutritional needs, so let the zookeepers feed out these plants!
