Meet John Patrick Hayden, Our Lestrade, Elliott Monk & Others!
We’re excited to welcome back John Patrick Hayden, who is taking on multiple roles as Lestrade, Elliott Monk, and others in Ms. Holmes & Ms. Watson – Apt. 2B at Cape May Stage. Audiences may remember John from his previous appearance here in Chapter Two, and we’re thrilled to have him return to our stage!
John’s impressive career spans Broadway, regional theater, television, and film. On Broadway, he was last seen in Tartuffe at the Roundabout Theatre. His regional credits include performances at renowned theaters such as the Guthrie Theatre, Hartford Stage, Denver Center, Pittsburgh Public, Center Stage, NJ Shakespeare Festival, Bucks County Playhouse, and Northern Stage.
In addition to his stage work, John has made his mark on television with recurring roles in Fleischmann is in Trouble (FX), Pretty Little Liars (HBO), and Marvel’s Daredevil on Netflix. He has also guest-starred in popular series such as FBI, Law and Order, Younger, Blue Bloods, Blindspot, and Chicago Fire.
Beyond acting, John is a talented filmmaker, earning a student BAFTA scholarship for his films while pursuing his MFA in directing from CCNY. His passion for storytelling is evident both on stage and behind the camera.
