Meet Pepper!

Meet Pepper! 🌶️

Pepper is the latest addition to our Education Department’s Ambassador Animal Team! She’s a South American coati, also known as a ring-tailed coati, and shares many traits with her North American cousin, the raccoon—especially her impressive climbing skills!

Pepper is currently training hard to learn the ropes of the Education Department. Soon, she’ll be joining us on our educational outreach programs.

Pepper resides at the Education Department on the ACCC Campus and will not be on display at the Zoo.
