Mola Mola Mondays

Mola Mola Mondays

Here is the second Mola mola we have sighted in the past week! These denizens of the deep can be found sunning themselves on the surface, and have the common name Ocean sunfish.

It’s one of the world’s largest bony fish and can grow to be as large as a pickup truck. Ocean sunfish are found in tropical and temperate oceans around the world and are often mistaken for sharks when their large dorsal fins emerge above the water.

You never know what you may see on our Whale and Dolphin Watching trips!
