New at the Cape May County Zoo!
We are excited to announce the birth of an Ankole-Watusi Calf. This little female calf is the first Watusi born at the Cape May County Zoo. Ankole-Watusi are an African breed of domestic cattle. They are characterized by the large horns atop their head. These horns can weigh hundreds of pounds and span 6+ feet. Our female calf weighs about 50 pounds but will reach 1600lbs at maturity! She can be viewed every day in our African Savanna.
