Northern walkingsticks are easy to miss – and that’s the point! Their sneaky appearance makes it easy for them to blend in with trees and branches. Walkingsticks are leaf skeletonizers (spooooky) – so if you’ve ever seen a leaf that looked like just the “bones” of it were left and the “flesh” was all gone, that’s probably because an insect like this ate it! 😉
