On this Juneteenth we highlight Leah Thomas also known as “Green Girl Leah”. Leah is an environmental writer and intersectional environmental activist. She advocates for environmental justice and inclusivity in the outdoors. She co-founded “Intersectional Environmentalist,” a platform that promotes diversity and equity in the environmental space.
Leah is a Daughters For Earth Advisory Circle member, a campaign to mobilize women worldwide to support and fund women-led efforts to protect and restore the Earth
