Out in the waters off Cape May, dolphins rely heavily on a small, oily fish called Atlantic Menhaden—more commonly known as “bunker.” These fish are a primary food source for our local bottlenose dolphins, with each dolphin consuming around 15 to 20 pounds of bunker each day.
