Edgar Reed was born in 1890. As a young man he worked for a druggist in Rockville, Maryland.(Photo 1) In February 1918, Edgar Reed enlisted in the Army Medical Corps, and was sent to New Haven, Connecticut, and then to General Hospital No. 11
