Banneker House

The Banneker House, 635 Lafayette Street, was built around 1845. The 3-story clapboard hotel had about 30 rooms when it opened.

An article in the July 21. 1854, issue of the Baltimore Sun contains an article about Cape May, which mentions the Banneker House having ten pin bowling
