#TeamRTC’s board of directors visited our national headquarters in Washington, D.C., this week!

While in town, they visited key segments of the Capital Trails Network, a developing 800+ mile trail network in the D.C. Metropolitan region and a #TrailNation project. Their tour explored Rock Creek Park, the Anacostia River Trail, 11th St. Bridge Park and into Prince George’s County, where the $25 million Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) grant awarded by U.S. Department of Transportation last summer will be put to work. They even stopped on the Hill and talked a bit about what it will take to fully fund the Active Transportation Infrastructure Investment Program (ATIIP), which would help connect trails and active transportation 🚲👟🦽networks and projects!

Special thanks to DC Cycling Concierge, East Coast Greenway Alliance and the Capital Trails Coalition!
