Looking for something fun to do after Thanksgiving? Drop into The Women’s Civic Club of Stone Harbor’s Winter Wonderland Festival of Trees!

The Winter Wonderland Festival of Trees (held this Friday and Saturday in the WCCSH building at 96th & the Beach in Stone Harbor) features trees and wreaths decorated and donated by area merchants and organizations – on display for viewing and silent bidding.

The event is open Friday, November 24 from 10 a.m. till 8 p.m. and Saturday, November 25 from 10 a.m. till Noon. Final bids close promptly at Noon. Proceeds benefit Holy Redeemer Food Pantry, Shriners Hospital for Children, and WCCSH building improvement and maintenance.

The Wetlands Institute is happy to have contributed a festive shore-themed tree for this event – including a hand-crafted whale emerging from the deep to wish everyone a happy holiday! Stop by and check out all the wonderful decorations!
