Bog buck moths (AKA bogbean buckmoths) have a wingspan about the size of your index finger. There are only three existing populations of these large black and white moths — one in New York state, and two in Canada. These populations face growing threats from habitat alteration, invasive species, and climate change. The Service has determined that the bog buck moth warrants listing under the Endangered Species Act. More information and how to comment on the proposed listing: http://ow.ly/sReh50Gs1gG
