Spires that inspire. These Cape May Point churches really STICK out. Saint Peter’s by the Sea and the Beadle Memorial Presbyterian Church were both designed in the architectural “stick style” that the historic Emlen Physick House was constructed in. Stick style architecture was a late 19th century American architectural style named after its use of linear “stickwork” on the outside walls. Learn more about stick style and other historic architectural movements in “Cape May Point Walking Tours”, available online or in our museum shops today. And be sure to check out our other architecturally inspired items at shop.capemaymac.org
