Since 2019, The Wetlands Institute scientists and our partners in the Seven Mile Island Innovation Lab – the Philadelphia District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and NJDEP – have been monitoring and evaluating local salt marshes, and developing and deploying innovative solutions to increase their resilience in the face of rapidly rising seas.

This fall, the project team is bringing a much-needed marsh enhancement project home to the marshes at Cape May Coastal Wetlands Wildlife Management Area, adjacent to The Wetlands Institute. On Thursday, August 22, 2024, join us here at the Institute for a special presentation on our upcoming project to elevate these local marshes to enhance marsh health and offset sea level rise.

When: Thursday, August 22, 5:30 – 6:30 PM
Where: The Wetlands Institute, 1075 Stone Harbor Blvd., Stone Harbor, NJ, 08247
