Commemorate the anniversary of D-Day and help fund The Longest Yarn at The Cricket Club Restaurant & Bar April 7 from 1-5pm. The afternoon will feature a buffet with beer, wine, a silent auction, and a tribute to Cape May County’s own D-Day heroes. The Longest Yarn is a three-dimensional wool tapestry, knitted and crocheted by thousands of volunteers worldwide. The tapestry will tour through Europe before making its way to Cape May County where it will be on display from April-September 2025 at the Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum.
