Amy Says- “This 19th century church venue surprised us with an extremely professional theatrical experience. I attended The Garbologists with 4 friends, all NY theater-goers. Starting with the venue, this old church makes a perfect intimate setting for theater with its comfortable, wide seating; there’s not a bad seat in the house. Each row is at least one or two feet higher than the row in front of it making for entirely open stage viewing. The Cape May Stage company is seamlessly run by its team, and director Roy Steinberg represents the company with class. His ability to effortlessly rattle off their benefactors shows the heart of this group.
The Garbologists was a real surprise. Both hilarious and poignant, actors Michael Basile and Serena Ebony Miller were top-notch talent. Their chemistry on stage reflects the company’s ability to cast plays thoughtfully and perfectly. The set was creative, flexible, clever and authentic using every available space.
We all would go back in a heartbeat. Surprise yourself and go!”
