The Story
Exit Zero Jazz is proud to welcome Omara Portuondo to Cape May City! A featured star of the Buena Vista Social Club during the 1990s (her duets with Ibrahim Ferrer were highlights of their 1997 self-titled World Circuit album and Wim Wender’s 1999 documentary film of their first Stateside tour), the 92-year-old Havana-born singer and dancer Omara Portuondo is now a bona fide legend, spreading her passion for boleros and son cubano to audiences all over the world.
