Tonight we have the pleasure of hosting the LeRoy W. Homer Jr. Foundation. Their mission is to encourage and support young adults who wish to pursue careers as professional pilots and increase awareness to the field of aviation.

Their mission is in honor of Major LeRoy W. Homer, the first officer of United Flight 93 that crashed on 9/11/2001.

The keynote speaker may look familiar to you. That is because it is Captain Nicholas “Mongo” Mongillo, USN (Retired). He was apart of our virtual lecture series. He was a TOPGUN instructor and shot down a MiG-21 on the first day of the Gulf War with VFA-81. His squadron mate Mark Fox, shot down another. They did this all with a full bomb load.
